Dear Residents,
We hope everyone is staying cool during the summer and finding ways to keep busy with current social distancing guidelines in place. As a reminder the 4th of July event is cancelled, but we still want to see how you are celebrating the 4thof July with your family! Please send us pictures or videos of your 4th of July gathering so we can share on our website and community newsletter! I would like to take this time to remind everyone of a few guidelines to remain in compliance within the community and in the Town of Gilbert.
Trees
The owner of any property fronting or bordering a street, alley, sidewalk or other passageway shall not allow or permit trees, plant growth, or shrubs to grow in a manner that impedes, or obstructs or interferes with passage on said street, alley, sidewalk or other passageway or limits the visibility of any regulatory sign or traffic control device or signal. All vegetation must be trimmed a minimum of eight feet over a sidewalk and a minimum of 13 feet and six inches above a street, alley or other passageway. Please ensure your trees follow the above guidelines. This is a Town of Gilbert law as well as an Association rule. You are subject to citation by both the community and town for not complying.
Street Parking
You are permitted to park on-street if you already have one vehicle in the garage and two in the driveway. The street is to be used as overflow parking only. If you must utilize on-street parking please adhere to the following rules:
- Do not park within 15′ of a fire hydrant, entrance to alleyway or cluster home drive.
- Do not park a car on a public street pointing the car in the wrong direction, park in the direction of traffic.
- Do not park on the sidewalk.
- Do not park closer than 30′ on either side of a Stop sign. This is for emergency purposed to allow emergency vehicles enough space to safely turn.
- Do not park an unregistered car on a public street.
