Tonight’s emergency Board of Directors meeting can be attended virtually via the web or by phone. Meeting time is 7:30 PM. In-person attendance is also available but limited due to social distancing requirements. The meeting will originate at the Lyon’s Gate clubhouse at 1811 South Martingale Road.

The special Board of Directors meeting scheduled for this Wednesday, October 7th at 7:30 PM will be accessible via remote access. In-person attendance is available but it has been the Board’s intention from the beginning to provide remote access to the meeting as well, as mentioned in the last HOA News update.
Friday’s sudden announcement by City Property Management of their decision to terminate their contract with Lyon’s Gate, coupled with the requirement to provide 48 hours advanced notice to the community of a special meeting of the Board of Directors, meant that the meeting notice had to be sent before the remote link and instructions were available. This satisfied the 48 hour advance notice of the special meeting, with remote access instructions yet to follow.
Residents of Lyon’s Gate will receive emailed instructions for remote access to Wednesday’s meeting in advance of the meeting. Thank you for your patience during this time which caught us all off guard.
On Friday, October 2nd 2020, the Lyon’s Gate Board of Directors received a Notice of Termination from City Property Management of the Management Contract that is currently in effect between City Property Management and the Lyon’s Gate Homeowners Association. As per Article VIIII of the Contract, this Notice of Termination is effective 30 days from date of the Notice. The Notice of Termination is dated October 1, 2020.
Due to this unforeseen event, the Lyon’s Gate HOA Board of Directors is calling a special meeting of the Board to be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2020 at 7:30 PM. The purpose of this special meeting is to discuss strategy and direction in selecting a replacement Property Management Company for the Lyon’s Gate HOA. This meeting of the Board of Directors is open to the public and residents are encouraged to attend. Board members will be meeting in-person at the Community Clubhouse, located at 1811 S. Martingale Road. City Property Management will not be in attendance.
For those residents not wishing to meet in person, an email will be sent to all Lyon’s Gate residents from City Property Management on Monday, October 5th with a link and instructions to join the meeting remotely. For those wishing to attend in person, seating will be very limited as social distancing will be observed. Remote attendance is recommended.
The September General Board Meeting is this Wednesday, September 16th at 7:00 PM. Once again, the meeting is being held virtually via WebEx. Links to the meeting agenda and login instructions are below.
The Moccasin pool will be closed all day on Tuesday, September 8th for maintenance. Residents may use either of the other two (2) community pools during this closure time. This week (Monday-Friday, August 31st through September 4th) is bulk trash week in Lyon’s Gate. Bulk trash pickup is a service offered by the Town of Gilbert. Placement can begin Saturday, August 29th, after 5:00 AM. Pickup begins on Monday and pickup can occur any day during the week. NOTE: Household trash is not accepted for bulk pick up and should be bagged and placed in your trash container. Bulk trash should be placed on the street, against the curb. City Property Management Company has a mandatory meeting all day Friday, August 28th and the office will be closed. Normal summer office hours will resume on Monday, August 31st.
I’m sure I speak for all of us when I say I’m looking forward to life getting back to normal in Lyon’s Gate so we can start enjoying all that our community has to offer. The HOA Board of Directors meeting that was postponed on August 19th, has been rescheduled for this Wednesday, August 26th at 7:00 PM. This meeting will once again be held virtually and residents will receive login info from City Property Management via email. The login info will also be available for residents now on the Resident Login Portal. For your convenience, the meeting agenda is linked below.
