Lyon’s Gate Special Board Meeting
Attention Lyon’s Gates Community Association Residents,
The Lyon’s Gate Community Association Board of Directors has scheduled an Open Session Board meeting for 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday November 3, 2021.

The Board of Directors and Management will attend in person at the Lyon’s Gate Clubhouse (1811 S Martingale Road). The membership may attend the Special Meeting at 7:00 p.m. via Zoom (see instructions below) or in person. Limited capacity due to COVID 19.
Social distancing shall be followed in accordance with CDC guidelines. Masks may be worn by those that are able to.

Annual HOA Meeting and Call for Candidates
The annual Lyon’s Gate HOA membership meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, December 8th at 7:00 PM. The main purpose of the meeting will be the selection of 3 Board members to fill vacant seats. There are 3 open seats for 2022 (two 3-year terms and one 2-year term). Homeowners should have received information about this meeting as well as the call for Board candidates and a nomination form for any homeowner interested in running for the HOA board of Directors or nominating someone who is. Nominations must be received by Wednesday, November 3rd in order for your name to appear on the absentee ballot. If you have any questions or need additional information, please contact the HOA property management team at the clubhouse.
Proposed Zoning Change Impacts Lyon’s Gate
Attention Lyon’s Gate: There is a proposed zoning change of the undeveloped property adjacent to Lyon’s Gate at the southwest corner of Ray Rd and Higley Rd. This proposal would change the zoning of that property from Shopping Center to Multi-Family to allow for a proposed 274 unit multi-family development. This proposed zoning change was one of the topics on this week’s Lyon’s Gate HOA podcast. You can listen to that podcast here.
There will be an online informational meeting about this proposal that Lyon’s Gate residents are encouraged to attend. This virtual meeting will be held on Monday, October 25 2021 at 6:00 PM. Residents can receive a link to that meeting by emailing vanessa.macdonald@pewandlake.com no later than 5:00 PM on the day of the meeting. We are also providing a link to the notification letter which contains more information as well as a preliminary conceptual drawing of the proposed 274 multi-family unit. Lyon’s Gate July 21st, 2021 Board Meeting Cancelled
The Lyon’s Gate Community Association Board of Directors has cancelled the Board meeting that was scheduled for Wednesday, July 21st, 2021.
The next Board meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 18th, 2021 at 7:00 PM. Meeting materials and details to be posted as the date draws nearer.

4th of July Weekend Holiday Closure
Attention Lyon’s Gate Residents, the clubhouse office will be closed Monday, July 5th in observance of the 4th of July holiday. Normal office hours will resume on Tuesday, July 6th. Lyon’s Gate, in partnership with Brown Community Management wish you a safe and healthy holiday weekend.
Holiday Hours Update
The Lyon’s Gate Community clubhouse office will be closed on Monday, May 31st in observance of Memorial Day. We will return at 8 A.M. on Tuesday, June 1st to assist with any community needs.

Notice of HOA Board of Directors Vacancy
The Lyon’s Gate Community Association Board of Directors currently has a vacancy stemming from a recent resignation of a director. If you are interested in the vacant position and fulfilling the remaining term, which would serve until December 1, 2021, please return the nomination form in the link below by either fax, mail, in-person to the clubhouse, or email. Instructions are on the form.
The completed nomination form must be received by Friday, May 14, 2021.
Once the board has received the nominations, they will review all applicants and appoint the new director at the next open session board of directors meeting which will be held on Wednesday, May 19, 2021.

New LG Board Member and Officers for 2021
At last night’s open meeting of the Lyon’s Gate Board of Directors, a new Director was selected to fill the Board position left vacant earlier this year by the resignation of a Board member. Gary Hart was selected to fill the vacancy and the remaining term through 2021. Here’s the breakdown of officers:

- Mike Adams – Vice President and Communications Committee Chairperson
- Denise Fecci – Secretary
- Rob Soncini – Director and Architectural Committee Chairperson
- Gary Hart – Treasurer and Social Committee Chairperson
Reminder: The Lyon’s Gate Board of Directors meets the 3rd Wednesday of every month in open session at 7:00 PM at the clubhouse. Residents are encouraged to attend either in person or remotely.
